We give to ourselves all day long, but noticing and receiving these gestures of giving is a practice.

Ethical conduct in body, speech and mind comes with us on and off the cushion. Are you being skillful in what you are doing and how you are doing it? Adjust accordingly.

In refraining, we pause and get curious about what is stirring within us. Can we settle and train in growing our appreciation of what is here now and what we already have?
