About the Event

With Bill Morgan, PsyD, Susan Morgan, CNS

Join us for a day of exploration, guided practices of mindful communication and meditation, and lively discussion.

Initially, we will attend to the ways in which we speak to ourselves. Are we kind and generous in our self-talk? Mindfulness helps us to see more clearly how we are relating to ourselves in the moment. One wise teacher often asked his students, “If you whispered in my ear everything you said to yourself today, would I have a good day?

Haven’t we all said things we regret and been spoken to in ways we found hurtful? Haven’t we each been disappointed when we were not listened to or felt judged? Skillful speech and deep listening require caring attention. To this end, we will learn and practice mindful communication during our time together.
