Why would we rather not investigate these? Because they disrupt the status quo.

Yes, we’re gonna age, get sick & die. No, we can’t take our friends and possessions along; in the end, everything must go!...but while we’re here, can we appreciate the preciousness of being human? Let’s try.

With mindfulness, in whatever situation we find ourselves in, whether joyful or not, a certain amount of stress is inherently there, and it will come to an end, and we can see that we are not in control of the outcome! Once we see these aspects of experience, we can decide how best to proceed.

Further understanding our attachment to our habits.

Experience not only falls away, it also ARISES every moment.

Notice the beginning, middle & end

Reflection on the relationship between impermanence and gratitude.

Notice the low grade moments of mild distress.

Understanding the causes and experiences of Dukkha affords us wonderful opportunities for freedom from Dukkah.

We start to move in the direction of “Anatta” when we step out of our own personal view and into a wider view that includes our own AND others' needs and feelings.

Identifying with self-defeating narratives is what creates Dukkha.
