The Daily Sit is one year old!
One year ago, on March 26, 2020, we began a journey and along the way, created a Sangha. We hope you'll take a moment to read this heartfelt message from Bill and Susan after a year of social distancing.
About the Daily Sit
This video project was born at the Barre Center for Buddhist Studies in March 2020 at a time when we all needed a place to ground, breathe, calm, settle, and soothe. Our time at the Barre Center has unfolded into the offering of teachings that help us find ways of being that bring ease and centering to our lives and create a sustainable practice.
In September of 2020, we began a more systematic way of practicing mindfullness. There are many ways to offer the Buddha's teachings and we offer this "Living Map" that illustrates and helps navigate a path we started last year and will continue into the foreseeable future. Please come back often to visit the map. We will be adding to as we go along.

Daily Sit Schedule
Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday features a short teaching & 30-minute meditation
Wednesdays include a 30-minute meditation with a short Q&A at the end
Friday, Saturday Sunday are meditation only days
