Individual Practice

Posture Consultations:

Physical posture affects the quality of attention and calm abiding. The aim is to meet the body where it is and support it as it journeys toward alignment.

Many meditation practitioners struggle with their physical posture in formal sitting practice; they struggle to find or maintain “their seat”, that comfortable-enough way of sitting that can be maintained with minimal stress for a discrete period of time without overly managing it.

Each body is unique with its own signature strengths and limitations. Bodies change with time, use, and injury. These changes need to be accounted for each time we take our seat.

Physical posture affects the quality of attention and calm abiding. It alters breathing. It affects the quality of meditation and the capacity to hold, to be with, to tolerate.

These consultative sessions are experiential; they are offered either in person or virtually. The aim is to meet the body where it is and support it as it journeys toward alignment.

Please wear comfortable clothing and bring whatever props you currently use.

These sessions are offered for Dana. Please contact us via email to schedule a session.
